The CASPA Alliance has awarded Aquatec Maxcon a number of major works associated with the current upgrade of Coombabah, the largest wastewater reclamation plant on the Gold Coast.
The digesters include two 23m diameter double skinned and insulated gasometers together with odour containment water seals, gas mixing and heating equipment. These are among the largest of their type constructed in Australia.
Contracts for upgraded clarifier mechanisms and also aerobic digester equipment have also been awarded to Aquatec Maxcon who have provided the majority of process equipment to this plant over several decades of its development.
